Coraline Book Design System

A book design system for the novella Coraline by Neil Gaiman including the case (front cover, spine, and back cover), spread, chapter breaks, end papers, and a title page. This system was heavily influenced by the book’s themes and its literal and metaphorical symbols. The tension-filled wallpaper, disorderly sewing, and overall unsettling nature is a nod to the book’s plot.
